Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - 2010 It's not a recommended starting point if you're wanting to get into the series. The gameplay and lack of tombs make this game completely different. Not the worst game in the world, but is only like Tomb Raider in the title alone. It's done this way as it assumes you've already played the originals and serves as a prequel. If you intend to play starting with the remake trilogy, I'd recommend starting with Anniversary (hence the order above), as it's a remake of the original 1996 story, and the events of Legend are set after.
